May 2, 2026 - The Kishwaukee College Softball team found themselves in the play-back bracket after splitting on Saturday during the NJCAA Region 4 Quarterfinal tournament. They Kougars would face, eventual Region Quarterfinal champion, Bryant and Stratton at 10 am on Saturday in a must win situation to advance. Unfortunately, the Kougars could not keep pace falling 9-4 to end their 2025-2026 season. Bryant & Stratton College were the first to get on the board in the first on a single to drive in one run. The Bobcats added to their early lead in the bottom of the second inning scoring two more runs. Kaelyn Williams started the game for Kish as the right-handed pitcher allowed 10 hits and nine runs (two earned) over six innings, striking out five and walking six. Leadoff hitter Sami Simms led the Kougars with three hits while Madison Hallaron, Williams, Georgia Gallardo, and Avery Boehne each drove in one run for Kish.
Kishwaukee finishes 28-26 overall and 9-8 in the Arrowhead Conference taking third place in the conference.
