March 11, 2026 - The Kishwaukee Softball team wrapped up their annual spring trip in Winter Haven, Florida by sweeping two games.  The Kougars defeated Rochester CC (MN) 12-3 in game one and then beat Ellsworth CC (IA) 9-2. Allison Abell won game one pitching while teammate Kaelyn Williams took game two. Sami Simms scored 5 runs, Lilli Delhotal had 5 RBI, Paezleigh Hudgin scored 3 runs as Avery Boehne also scored 3 runs on day. Madison Hallaron, Kayla Tofari, Brooke Jackson and Makenzie Mann also had runs scored plus Lillie Gebel, Williams and Tyra Smith had RBIs as well on the day. Kish (9-3 overall) will return home over the weekend and then start preparing for an Arrowhead Conference doubleheader on Tuesday on the road at Sandburg College (weather permitting).
