Kougars finsh 6th at GLBC final tourney, Stanley takes overall individual spot

February 1, 2026 - The Kishwaukee Kougrs Women's and Men's Bowling team traveled to Buzz Social Lanes in Green Bay, Wisconsin to compete in the final Great Lakes Bowling Conference (GLBC) tournament of the season.  The Men's team sat in fourth place overall after Saturday indivudual bowling.  Brenden Stanley took overall first place on Saturday with a 244 average.  Once the Baker Sunday results were posted, Kish finished in sixth place overall and the highest men's team tourney finish in Kougars history.  The team of Stanley, Thomas Booker (206 average), Jack Bingley (189 average), Nick Bingley (171 average), Hunter Kirby (162 average) and Aidan Matson (203 average-1 game bowled) finished ahead of four year universities including UW-Milwaukee, UW-Osh Kosh, UW-Platteville, UW-Madison, the University of Iowa, UW-Lacrosse, University of Minnesota-Duluth, Western Illinois University, UW-Stout and UW-Green Bay.  In addition, the Kish team finished second in NJCAA results to only Rock Valley College but finished higher than the other NJCAA Region 4 teams there including College of Lake County, Blackhawk Tech and Bryant and Stratton College (WI).
