November 15, 2025 - The Kishwaukee Kougars Esports team delivered a commanding performance at the NJCAAE National Playoffs, defeating North Dakota State College of Science 3–1 in a best-of-five series in Overwatch 2 to advance into the National Quarterfinals.
The starting lineup—Kyle Roland, Wyatt Bryant, Bernardo Muñoz, Riley Collins, and Aiden Dively—showcased relentless energy and strategic execution from start to finish. The Kougars set the tone early, establishing strong control over the map and dictating the pace of play. Their defensive coordination stood out most, as they consistently blocked and countered nearly every move the Wildcats attempted, shutting down key threats and maintaining momentum throughout the series.
"This group fought all year for moments like this," one staff member said. "Their communication and discipline were on full display tonight."
With the 3–1 victory, Kishwaukee secured its place among the final eight teams in the NJCAAE Championship Tournament, marking one of the program's strongest postseason runs in recent years.
