Congratulations to 6' 1" sophomore guard Koko Songolo from Madison Memorial HS who has signed to play for the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point next season. UW-Stevens Point competes in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference(WIAC) which is recognized as the best Division III conference in the country year in and year out. The Pointers have won (4) NCAA Division III National Championships and numerous WIAC Conference Championships. Koko has played in 61 games while making 14 starts in his Kishwaukee career. During this past season Koko averaged 7.2ppg, 2.5rpg, 1.9apg, and shooting 38.5% from behind the 3pt line for the Kougars. Koko has career highs of 21 points against Rockford University, 10 rebounds against Rockford University, 6 assists against Moraine Valley College, and 3 steals against Sauk Valley College. Koko has career totals of 381 points scored, 144 rebounds, and 99 assists in his Kishwaukee career. Koko also holds a 2.9gpa in his two years at Kishwaukee College. Koko was a captain for the 2015-16 Kiswuakee season. Coach Buss has now helped move (55) total players onto 4-year schools to continue their basketball careers in the last 14-years coaching at Kishwaukee.
