November 19, 2019 - The Kishwaukee Lady Kougars basketball team worked hard to come back from a 33-24 halftime deficit versus McHenry Tuesday night at home. In the end, the Scots found a way to have offensive runs of their own to preserve a 74-57 win. Kishwaukee was led in scoring by Dennysha Kizer (11 rebounds) and Cesca Vardman (last week's Region IV player of the week) who both had 10 points each. Rylee Abraham gave Kish 7 points and 10 rebounds, Addie Kitzmiller added 8, while Morgan Baker chipped in with 9 points. Alexis Keating had 6 points and Lauren Kawall 5 points along with both guards providing defensive pressure at McHenry alongside post Lani Morris in key stretches.
Kishwaukee (1-3 overall) travel Saturday to Rockford to take on Rock Valley College at 1:00 pm before returning home Tuesday, November 26 at 5:30 pm. Kishwaukee will have their 2019 Hall of Fame Induction ceremony between the womens game and the mens game the same evening.
