November 12, 2019 – The Kishwaukee College Women's Basketball team took on Moraine Valley Community College Tuesday night in Malta. A slow first quarter by the Kougars impacted the final outcome. Despite Kish outscoring Moraine in the final two quarters by 7 points, the visiting Cyclones took the win 73-55. Cesca Vardman (Rochelle HS) led the Kish scoring effort with 15 points while Morgan Baker (Rochelle HS) had 12, Alexis Keating (Belvidere HS) added 11 points and Dennysha Kizer (DeKalb HS) put in 7 points along with pulling down 12 rebounds. Defensively, Rylee Abraham (Belvidere HS) grabbed 10 rebounds while Lauren Kawall (Somonauk HS) had 4 steals and Addie Kitzmiller (Oregon HS) contributed 3 steals and 2 blocks.
Kishwaukee (1-1 overall) travel Thursday for their first road contest of the season in East Peoria against Illinois Central College with tip-off at 6:00 pm.
