Lady Kougars sign four for upcoming Volleyball season

Kishwaukee College Head Volleyball Coach, Emily Bodmer, has added four more players to the roster for the 2017-2018 season.  Players signed include Alissa Lacko (Genoa-Kingston High School), Taylor Smith (Rockford-Jefferson HS), Alexandria Turner (Indian Creek HS) and Skylar Doherty (Genoa). 

Coach Bodmer on Alex Turner:  "Alex is a sophomore setter that is coming into the program with a great deal of drive and enthusiasm to help get the team ready for the season.  Her abilities and positive teamwork will help push us to be our best as a team this year!"

Coach Bodmer on Sky Doherty: "Sky comes in as a defensive specialist and her athleticism will be defintely needed this year along with her great attitude for us to compete in the Arrowhead Conference and in the Region!"

Coach Bodmer on Alissa Lacko: " Alissa will be another defensive specialist for us this season.  She has a great deal of club experience that will help us in tight matches.  She'll be one to watch defensively as the season develops for us this year!"

Coach Bodmer on Taylor Smith " Taylor will be a middle hitter for us and brings good height to the team.  Her ability to put the ball away and to get a big block when needed at the net will be important for us all season!"

The team begins the new season with a home match versus College of DuPage on August 22 at 6:00 pm followed by a big away conference match against Blackhawk College on August 29.
