Odom-Flores nominated for 2017 Bob Bopp Arrowhead Conference Academic Achievement Award

Isabel Odom-Flores (OF/P - Sycamore High School) has committed to return to the Lady Kougar softball diamond this upcoming season with fellow returnees Michaela Hacaga and Madison Marshall.  Recently, Odom-Flores was nominated for the Bob Bopp Academic Achievement Award through the Arrowhead Conference.  This nomination, one for a female athlete and one for a male athlete, is based on the athlete competing in a conference sport for the 2017-2018 season, having achieved at least a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.00 and having made Academic All-Conference for the season they played.  Odom-Flores acheived a 3.60 cumulative gpa through the fall and spring semesters.

Bob Bopp was one of the leaders of the Arrowhead Conference and was a tremendous supporter of all sports within the colleges until his sudden passing in his fifties in 2008.  The Arrowhead Conference decided to recognize his contributututions by creating this honor in his name.
