November 24, 2018 - The Kishwaukee Men's basketball team travelled to Cicero this past Saturday in a Region IV contest against Morton College. The teams kept it close after the first half with Kish holding on to a 37-34 lead. The Kougars wound up controlling most of the second half on the way to a 83-73 win. Kishwaukee's Luke Davis (9 rebounds) led the team with 17 points. Teammates Marshawn Phillips (8 assists) and Caleb Could (8 assists) finished with 16 points apiece while Robert Johnson added 13 points and 12 rebounds for a double-double. Martinez Lenyoun and Kionne Layne helped a balanced offensive attack with 8 points each as the Kougars also had offensive scoring from Anathi Davis-Peal and Tyrone VanOsten.
Kish (6-1 overall) will host Elgin Community College this week on Tuesday, November 27 at 7:30 pm before travelling up to Milwaukee on Thursday for another region opponent in Milwaukee Area Tech at 7:00 pm and then at Oakton Community College on Saturday, December 1 with tip-off at approximately 3:00 pm.
